Am looking for a WA adapter for my 20 f1.7 lens. Have a few here that I used with my PD170, but none of them seem to be able focus with the GH1.
What should I look for in a WA adapter to ensure that it will work?
I borrowed my friend's Bower .45x wide-angle converter (67mm front filter thread, 58mm thread - used stepdown rings to attach onto the 20mm Lumix). Image quality was pretty good, even at open aperture...the m4/3 crop helps to keep corners sharp. The 20mm's autofocus is not very fast or accurate, and it's just not very reliable when the subject is moving a lot. With the WA adapter, manual focus on the hyperfocal distance and shoot from medium to far range so constant focus pulls won't be necessary. Critical focusing with the WA is kinda difficult, use the evf or a lcd magnifier if you got it.
