Which Rail System for the hpx500 ?

I know Zacuto, Chroziel and Cavision make rail system for the Hpx500. Which one do you put on your hpx500 ?

Also which FF do you use for the hpx500 ? Would the RedRock be fine ?? I also assume the fujinon lens requires 0.6 gear pitch ?

No one is putting FF or rail mounted Mattebox to their hpx 500 ??

IF you are going to do it this way, stay with Chrosziel or Zacuto. I wouldn't bother with Cavision.

I wouldnt use a cavision mattebox personally, but Ive seen one work fine.

For rails and adapter plate cavision are fine. As is the new version of the cavision ff, no hard stops. You are right - 0.6 for fujinon lens, comes with cavision version as standard.

Is the cavision robust enough to handle handgrips so the hpx500 can be used shoulder mounted handheld style?
I thought I heard someone said that there are plastic parts in the cavision rod support ???

The chroziel setup is around $650 , zacuto setup around $850 and cavision setup is around $220. However, a dropped hpx500 is around $22,000 ++ !!!

The Cavision plate adapter and rod support is ALL metal. Mines never had a problem.
