Which manual lenses work for D90?

Just make sure the lens your using has a manual ring for adjusting fstops. I would start with the Nikon 50mm 1.8, it's very nice and affordable lens.

Adapters only work for Nikon glass on Canon bodies - Nikon glass has a thinner flange than EOS, so there's room for the hardware.
AI and AIS glass is really nice for video. Look on eBay for the old "Series E" lenses, those are nice, esp. the 28mm 2.8 prime, and the 50mm. The 100mm 2.8 (might be 105mm?) was really considered a "sleeper" lens, will be more like a 150mm on the D90 but it's an awesome telephoto prime.
I tried some AIS Lenses from Vivitar, but shot some test charts & the Nikons were much sharper.
