Press release for upcoming C100 AF upgrade says it will work with "all compatible Canon EF lenses." Any idea what that means? Would this include EF-S lenses?
From what I've gathered, any lens that supports AF that's an EF mount will work. That includes EF-S since the C100 is not full frame. I guess the question is really how well will they work? Like everything that isn't released yet, it's all speculation at this point. The demos looked promising and you know that a lot of people here on DVXuser will jump on it right away.
Thanks. I am thinking of getting the Canon EF 70-200 f4 IS and didn't know if I should wait until people on DVXuser evaluate the firmware upgrade or go ahead and buy it now.
I'm also looking at this lens to complete my set. B&H has a good deal going for $1199.00 + $200.00 mail in rebate which brings the final price down to $999.00.
Would love to get the 2.8 version but too expensive for me. Good luck.
