I'm 100% new to this whole DSLR and professional camera thing. I'm used to an HF100 - point and shoot. I'm thinking about possibly getting the 60D body and the lens separately since I'll save some cash that way.
I shoot almost nothing but documentary footage and green screen stuff, but more on the documentary side of things. I don't really know about all of this mm range stuff and what the differences are between the lenses offered so maybe someone can help out. If this helps any: I want to get that 35mm film look. If it makes it look like film, I'll buy it as far as I'm concerned
So which model from Canon should I go with? And actually, I wouldn't mind going with another 3rd party brand (if that's even possible). If that's going to be better/save some cash then all the better.
