Honestly if I had to chose between getting drunk or getting stoned on pot, I'd pick the pot. It's a more pleasant experience, no hangover, food tastes awesome...Haven't in a long time though and don't really miss it.

You don't have to go that far. It practically IS legal in Los Angeles. Just say you have a mild headache, fork over some dough and you can get a prescription for it in about half an hour, then head across the street at a legal dispensary and go nuts...It is seriously that easy.

I just thought I'd add contrast. I know you're joking, but I don't refrain from drinking out of any holier-than-thou attitude, but for other personal reasons. I may try drinking once in the near future, as I've actually been somewhat curious to see what it's like. But I just had surgery after five months of health problems, so I'm going to continue to take it easy for a while. Maybe I'll drink on my birthday this year (23 in September).
