Which DVXuser member has influenced you most?

Zaza's dedication and resourcefulness is pretty damn good.

EDIT: I think his slider thread might be pushing the all time record for most view's passing Adam's Corrado threads? I dunno, I have been drinking excesivley thanks to Chad.

Ted Ramasola, aka teddybear, the unrefuted king of DIY.
Perrone Ford, who tirelessly explains (and re-explains) editing issues.
Jim Brennan and MattinSTL, who have always shown how to be interesting and polite.
Sad Max, who invariably adds an unexpected angle.
And, Barry Green (of course), the master educator.

I can't say anyone on this site has influenced me

I've been inspired however by the likes of Steven and Jack, Rich Lee, Tim and Mark ... (I am sure I am missing some peeps)

Influence is from the masters; I have not taken nor learned anything from anyone here per se. But I've been stoked on others drive and perseverance.

Damn you R.J. just go with it, if someone here could have who would it be?

Who do you think has done the best work here?

Oh

Well Best Work ......

Hmmmmmmmmmmm

Steven is the master of capturing nature; he'd be my first pic for B CAM or maybe even DP. Just beautiful work and consistent.

Rich Lee is my pick for most cutting edge, original, stylized.

Tim is my pic for someone who just gets it and has grown exponential with each project. He gets it.

I love the work of Geoff and Matty as well when it comes to DP ing.

Of course I'm my favorite director. Ha ha.

In no order:

Green
Hudson
Ramsey
Barry S
Luis Caffesse
Mac
Mark H
Fat Monster
Zak
Sam Balcomb
chris messineo
Urban Mouse
Matty G
&
Stefan Haynes

_

Geoff R.
JDS
Mark J.
Zak
Barry G.
Mark H.
Luis

and probably missing some...

Oh... Sam Balcomb, and Kholi

probably more too :D ugh...

J. R. says he hasn't been influenced by anybody? Work with the Fat Monster crew and you'll be under the influence in no time.

Marlon Ladd (encouraged me to enter my first dvxfest)

Rodney V. Smith (Love his work, and he does so much for the fests)

Richard J. Johnson

Barry Green (Sound for film and tv is the bomb.)

Being new here the list is relatively short, I am sure it will continue to grow each day.

Funny that we were supposed to pick one member and instead everyone lists :-).

Excluding the locals (because my interactions with them go way beyond DVXUser)...Adam Cultraro.
Awesome guy, actually making movies and going the distance. His thread on Corrado was the best thread this site's ever had, it was like the knowledge of many of the other subforums all put into one.
