Which cam should I buy please help!!!

The 150 is much better than the 40, no doubt about that. The only benefit the 40 may have is higher resolution in good light. Still, I am considering the camera that I can use both for paid jobs (should look professional) and for home videos (should be rather small). The HMC40 fits the bill size-wise and feature-wise, but I know that if I buy it I will be sorry for not buying the 150.

Well, some might consider a price tag differential of $1700 MSRP to be a pretty significant benefit too.

A second benefit would probably be the zoom control, since it doesn't have a cam-driven manual zoom it's likely that the 40 will have a smoother power zoom over a wider range of speeds.

A third benefit will of course be its miniscule size.

A fourth benefit is interval recording.

But other than those things, and having not tested one yet, I agree with your statement:
but I know that if I buy it I will be sorry for not buying the 150.

The 150 is undoubtedly going to be superior in so many ways. The compelling thing about the 40 is the price tag, and the potential promise of sharper pictures in good light, but in general the 150 is sweet sweet sweet.
