i dont know much about adapters but if i get this lens for my gh1 which lens adapter is the cheapest and would work that i can get on b&h

Cieco7 Ebay adapter...$80 or so dollars on Ebay. Also look around on Ebay for lenses...I managed to get a used (although pretty old but not too banged up) Nikon 50mm f/1.4 for less than $100.

waiiiit..... so from this link which of the adapters would work... and also this may sound like a dumb question but is this all i need to connect the lens to the gh1

None of those. You'd need one for Nikon to Micro 4/3rds. None of those are for Nikon.

Also, if you're going to get a Nikon dSLR...then that Nikon lens might be nice, but if you're not going to get a Nikon dSLR any time soon, then you can buy older, cheaper, manual focus lenses. The auto-focus feature of that Nikon lens you linked to will not do you any good when strapped to the GH1.

well can anyone tell me any inexpensive good 50m lens that can work on a gh1 and if needed can you include the mount for the lens.

but is there any 50mm lens with a 62mm mount so that lens mounts arent needed cause i couldnt find any

i found a nice 25mm panasonic lens that would work perfectly with a gh1 but its freaking 1000$... so expensive

What you're looking for is a Micro 4/3 to Nikon adapter. There are tons of them on ebay, best is sold by Cieco7. They take awhile to ship. Usually around $80.

Hunt down whatever Nikon manual lenses you can that seem in good condition.

The mm number refers to the filter thread size on the front of the lens and has nothing to do with mounting the lens to the camera. 62mm filters (GH1 kit) work great on 52mm Nikon lenses via a cheap ($10 or less) stepup ring.

A few days ago I asked Ciecio7 if he (she?) would be selling another batch soon. It sounds like he'll have some in a week or two.

well can anyone show me a good 50mm lens for gh1 and an adapter to go with it... probably from bhphoto because i am ordering other things from there also

B&H doesn't sell the adapters.

This is a great lens! $99 is a pretty good price too!

This is also a good lens, but it's a little slower, f/2 instead of f/1.4, which means it won't do quite as good low light or get as shallow DOF (because it cant go more open than f/2...but a lot of the time you will be using your f/1.4 lens at f/2 or higher.)

It is also only $45 because it will not work with Nikon DSLRs (see how it says not for digital) but WILL work with your GH1. (my f/1.4 is also pre AI..sounds like their one above is converted.)
