Where Can I get A Grey Market HVX?

Think of Spec-Comm's b-stock as Demo Versions. Display versions that are being sold discounted as a result. Not something someone bought and returned for whatever reason.... Make sense?

Good deal, too Andrew.... I'd buy the one without the charger and pick up a dolgin quick charger from you guys too... that'd be a sweet deal. Love my dolgin charger by the way.....

Jason

Yo, Frankie... The Capt could really use an affordable remote focus ;)

:)

I think we...oh I mean Frankie has a Varizoom DVX-FI instock.

I'll check when I get back into the office. I didn't see it on the store.

I hope that some DVXUSERs don't think that we really are "Frankie".

Best regards,

Andrew Hoffman

I got mine from DigitalCorp, I found it on EBay, but since I've had a bad experience with Ebay before, I just called them and ordered over the phone. The people there were very pleasant to deal with, and Steve (the guy that took my order) was very helpful in answering any questions I had. Mine cost me about $4200 CDN and came with a tripod, 5 dv tapes, an aluminum hard case, a nylon case, a light, filters, lens cleaning kit a wireless microphone kit and warranty (It's not the manufacturer's warranty, its some sort of 3rd party warranty. Not sure if it's legit or not, but I got it anyways, just in case. They say for warranty claims you go through them, and then they go through panasonic) I got mine delivered in about a week and a half, with everything described and 0 hours on the meter. I'd highly recommend them if you can't afford an authorized dealer. Their phone number is: 1-800-807-4171 and their ebay store is: http://stores.ebay.com/digitalcorp_W0QQfsubZ0QQsclZQ2d1QQtZkm

I also bought mine from Digitalcorp (dvx not hvx) I bought it about 9 months ago everthing was as described no problems whatsoever. There was no bait and switch I had a problem with one of the sale guys he was being a dick when I called to check on my order but thats it... It took 5 days to arrive. I also work for eBay always use paypal or credit card.

Samy's Camera has a DV Expo show special: $4,695.00 including a 16 gig card. However, I think you might have to actually buy it on the show floor. Could be worth a call. I don't think they are grey market.

I bought mine for $1,400 through the black market -- grey market is too expensive. You have to stick to the black market for the really good deals. I guess the owner of my camera was gunned down in a gang fight or something so the camera was hot, but it's not like there are serial numbers right? RIGHT?!

haha, just kidding ;)
