GH3 When did you order your GH3?

Hi everybody. I am so happy taht gh3 is shipping to people who made preorder. I am wonder how long is a line? I ordered mine on october 24. When you guys you ordered yours and have you received it?
 
At first i preorder mine through BH for an Dec 5th shipment, last wednesday Nov 28th i cancelled my order because National Camera had them in stock. So thats when i got my GH3.
 
I ordered mine today.. I was on the fence for a while about what to get but.. I cant hold out any longer. Now to play the waiting game.
 
B&H told me 2 months...... I pre-ordered from Amazon over the weekend but they do not know when they'll get it in.... Looking like crazy for the GH3.
 
Ordered mine Sept 17th via Amazon, had it Nov. 30th. Would have gotten it the 29th if I's upgraded to next day air, but 2nd day air is free with Amazon Prime.

Worth the wait!
 
For anyone looking, we ordered one but not in time for this avail, but as it turned out I had a project come up that required a third camera and 60p.

So I just did a quick search on ebay and bought one from National Camera for $1500 to arrive this week.

They had another.
 
I learned from what happened a couple of years ago with the GH2 - where I didn't pre-order and couldn't find one anywhere in the States as of early December of '10. So I ended up ordering one from Canada on 12/21/10. It was a late Christmas present on 12/29/10.

So this time I pre-ordered the GH3 from Adorama on 9/18/12 - UPS says it will be delivered today.

P.S. - shout out to the great folks at Adorama, who have sent me frequent updates on order status, lowered the price by 99 cents when Amazon went down to $1299.00, and who let me change credit card numbers (twice) while keeping my spot in line. Love those guys.

Can't believe how more expensive it is in the UK.
Body only - or with the crap lens, is £1600 on Amazon UK.
That is $2579.
DOUBLE what you guys are paying.

Same here.. in December 2010 I didn't pre-order but happened on one from Samy's and got it before Christmas, so this time I pre-ordered from them. I might have waited too long (start of Nov) waiting for a kit option with the 12-35.
 
Ordered mine on Friday locally from Henry's in Canada and picked it up that evening :) Henry's still have stock online and price is the same as in the US. They will ship to the US for $12.95. For any warranty work you will just need to ship back to them and they will deal with Panasonic Canada directly. Many have done this over the years with Henrys.

I ordered mine a few months back but got it from Henry's on Friday also. Loving the camera so far. Great upgrade to my much loved GH2.
 
Thx for the heads-up, fella, as I hit up that Henry's link as well and ordered a couple. Cancelled my B&H order so hope that Henry's comes through. It mentioned that it's 6-10 days shipping to the US.
 
I ordered from Samy's yesterday and was notified that the order had shipped or gone to warehouse today.... a lot sooner than I expected. I was tempted to order from Henry's but read too many bad reviews about them online.
