C300: What's your favorite EVF?

About the Deity Loupe,

1) First, is the lcd that good of quality that the Deity Loupe will be good, or even better than the Zacuto EVF?

2) When the lcd is mounted on the handle cold shoe and flipped upside down, wont the loupe be still too high for viewing it straight?
It looks as if it would be best if the lcd/evf could be mounted lower about 2 inches or so.

From what I'm seeing, it looks like the evf should be at the height of the top of the camera sensor or about half way through the lens if you know what I mean. Instead it is way above the camera sensor or the lens which would force you to look up into the evf instead of looking straight.

Would there be a better way to mount the camera lcd to get it lower and in a better position for the evf?

The only thing I can think of is making something like this, or even buying this cold shoe bracket. Just purchase an additional cold shoe adapter and you're set for around $35

Unless if you have $300-400 you can get this and mount it onto your 15mmlw OR 19mm rods (They include two options - Why I LOVE Tilta!). Or something thats similar but cheaper. All youd need to do is mount a cold shoe to it. Unless if there is a way to unscrew the cold shoe from the lcd monitor and use a 1/4-20" screw?
*Now that I found this, im really interested in it! BUT....

But the question also comes down to whether the cables will be long enough to move and mount the lcd/evf in this location?

+1 on kinotehnik EVF. Using on 1d c and gh3. Agree about buttons, but not a deal breaker. I also use in open position, much smaller footprint this way.
