Hi All!
This is my first post, and I am sorry, because this seems to be a stupid question, but we cannot figure it out. I just got my GH1 and a friend of mine has a Canon T1i. We wanted to compare the shots, so we shot the same thing, and went to his computer to check them out (He has a Hackintosh 3.0 gHz, 1TB H-drive, 8 gb RAM) The computer would recognize the camera, iMovie would pull the photos off of the card, but that was it. Every time we tried to pull the video off of the card, it would crash the program we were using. We tried Final Cut Pro 6.0.6, and iMovie 09. Being a little nervous about not being able to use this camera with my computer (i run a Macbook Pro 3.2 gHz, 250 gb H-drive 4gb RAM) To my surprise, as soon as I opened FCP, and went to log and transfer, the clips were there. Why does it crash his programs? Is it because he has a hackintosh, or is it his settings?
Thanks!
Matt
