The cheapest you will ever pay for a DVX100A is $3359 from ProMax, or $3298 from Willoughby's. Anyone offering to sell it for less is either not legit, a gray marketer (which puts your warranty in question), or will try to "get you" some other way, by offering overpriced accessories to make up the difference.

Royal Cameras, Express Cameras, and BWayPhoto are not authorized vendors. Just look for the Magic Bullet software to be included so that you are sure to have a Panasonic US warranty.
Hope this helps,
Jan

Yeh I felt it from Royal. I flew to the US from the Caribbean
to buy my DVX100A. The box had 100P and they convinced me that it is the same. That was May. Yesterday I learnt that
the 100P is realy the 100. Plus I got the Nikon D2H. When I got there he asked me if I want the software, battery and charger. Man I was vex. cost me more than I planed. I mailed them. They said to call. Going to in the next Hour.

Yea, definetly do not risk it, anything thats too good to be true, is. I've spent hours going through reseller ratings.com, just reading teh horror stories that people go through because they were enticed by some really really low price. Then what usually happens is that they
1. get a crappy/gray market/defective stripped down version of the cam
2. is pressured to buy a lot of other accessories by some high pressure sales guy who is curt and rude
3. camera doesnt arrive, and then its hell getting a refund let alone getting through to their 'customer service'
