Hi, can some one explain to me the difference? Checked canon.no (.com) and all I saw was the different zoom.

But I don't understand what's the difference between the zooms and the camera's in general?

Are the one more expensive and professional?

Also,
What would you recommend for blue/green-screening - Amateur movies and documentaries?

Sincerly
Alexander :)

"The XH G1's professional JackPack enables HD/SD-SDI with embedded time code and audio, SMPTE Time Code In/Out, and Genlock Input. "

The G1 comes with the above, the A1 does not - that's the difference between the cameras. For the price, if you're considering a G1, it's almost better to spend a bit more and get the XLH1

hope that helps.

Unless you're doing a very sophisticated multicamera shoot and want precise synchronization, want live uncompressed 1920x1080/1440x1080 4:2:2 RGB output, or want sometype of timecode monitor or want your camera to record a different timecode, you won't really need the XH G1.
