Personally I just seen the video and the quality is not very good. Shadows everywhere, I mean really bad....
How in the world they did not have that video properly lit for this kind of budget is absurd. If you want to know if this video can be done with an HDSLR than I would say yes, actually I would say this video which does not look very good could have be done with even a less capable camera

It's a fantastic looking music video, but no. Nothing about it looks anything like DSLR. Beautifully deep and saturated colours, very sharp footage, no blown out highlights, soft grain... looks like 35mm.
I believe the Behind The Scenes shows a film camera
Most of the top music videos are still shot on film, or red. Although the last music video I saw that stood out to me as DSLR was Maroon 5's Misery video and Jason Derulo's Whatcha Say and Kylie Minogue's All The Lovers.

I am pretty sure this was 35mm
It was shot in 35mm by one of my favorite music video directors chris applebaum, dude does some great videos
