What step up ring for Light Craft ND filter? Need to order ASAP

I have a GH2 that just arrived and I want to order a Light Craft Mark II ND filter. Is there an exact step up ring to order or do I need to get the set and build up to it? I have the kit 14-42 lens. Am trying to order it tonight. So it gets here asap. Thanks.

you simply need a step up ring to match your lens thread and filter thread. stacking isnt ideal for obvious cumbersom reasons

Please, exactly what step up ring do I need? I am ordering on Amazon and need to know exactly what step up ring to order. As mentioned I have the Panny GH2 with the 14-42 kit lens . It needs to go up to whatever the Light Craft filter accepts. Thanks.

The filter size of the panasonic 14-42 f3.5-5.6 is 52mm; it says so right on the lens. It takes a 52mm filter. I have just confirmed this with 52mm filter I just screwed into the lens.

Just order a 52mm filter if this is the only lens you want to filter or if you have a set of nikkor manual lenses like I do, the vast majority of which all take 52mm filters.

If on the other hand you want to be able to use the filter on larger lenses someday, decide what size those might be and step down from that size.

I would order a 52mm->77mm step up ring(assuming you are using the kit lens size that notharrylume pointed out) and a new lens cap. That way, you're pretty much future-proofed about using your filter on any other lens.

Thank you for the great info. I ordered the 52mm ND filter so no step up ring required. Just FYI, I ordered from Amazon and used the 1 Day Shipping, paid $25 for that service and when the order confirmed, it said "Estimated Delivery Nov 22-26". So I cancelled that and ordered from BH for the same price with real 1 day shipping.
