T2i What Should I Get For My T2i?

I already bought the 18-55mm lens and the 55-250mm lens. I purchased a RODE mic, a LCD video kit, a fish-eye lens, a UV filter for the 55mm lens, a 3-way bracket to support a mic, lights and whatever else.

What else do you guys think I should get? I am focusing on making music videos, so I will probably buy a lighting kit. Also, any suggestions about a green screen?

I am trying to get a copy of Final Cut or CS5, does anyone know where I could buy a full copy for not that much money? I don't have enough to spend over $1000 for a Mac program.

Go for a standard lens for now. I just bought the Sigma 30mm 1.4 and well worth it. Also the Canon 28 1.8 is another good choice. I also have the nifty fifty but now after owning all I can honestly say the 28 and 30. 50 is too telephoto and the build really sucks.

ND fader
cheap follow focus (dfocus + dmount + indian gear set from ebay)
I don't know what "LCD video kit" refers to, but you need something to aid you in pulling focus (5" to 7" field monitor or z-finder clone)
lighting equipment

then, case to carry everything around
then, slider and/or crane
then...

I would get a battery grip. I have experienced three benefits of a battery grip. Twice the run time, does not seem to overheat quite as much and the battery grip allows me to change batteries with a quick release plate attached to the bottom of the unit.

With my quick release plates, they cover up the corner of the battery door, which means to change batteries, I have to remove the quick release plate, which takes time and is a hassle. I bought a cheapo unit on Ebay that included two batteries for less than $80, but you can buy the Canon version if you feel better about it, but the cheaper version, along with the aftermarket batteries have served me well for the last 6 months.

Honestly, it sounds like you're pretty covered. Bring your camera out, shoot some stuff. Add more gear as you find you need it.

The other day I went to downtown Chicago for a meeting. It was snowing, the trees were lit up with lights, and crowds were hustling and bustling down Michigan Ave. I wanted to grab some footage of it, but I couldn't. The snow could wreck up my T2i due to lack of weather proofing. So, I just bought a rain cover off ebay. I saw a need for gear, so I purchased some.

After you've covered your basics (TRIPOD not on your list), then figure out what you need from there based upon shooting conditions.

X2 on the battery grip, and a nice tripod. Those 2 items will probably ad the most comfort in usage of your camera.

A nice light kit (even a cheap one) will add to your video making enjoyment.

and although you say you are only doing music videos, I noticed you bought some audio gear (mic and hotshoe mount) PLEASE dont waste your time in attempting to use the built in audio, it is a monumental waste of time, and just get yourself a small field recorder.

Tripod. Everyone always wants something sexier but the sure sign of an armature shoot is it being all hand Held. A cheap bogen 501 HDV would work great.
