What movie is this from?

Ok, so last weekend there was apparently a Karate Kid marathon or something. I watched part one, then part two. Sunday I watched part three.In all three of these movies, I was waiting for a scene that I could have SWORN was from the first movie, then the second, then the third. None of them had it.

So in what movie does the "bad guy" (who I thought was Daniel's 'enemy' in one of the movies) throw a platform into the water surrounding a small stage. He then puts a knife to the main character's love interests neck. The main character has to come fight that guy and save the day? I'm also pretty sure there are those tiny hand drums (with the beads on strings) that the bystanders were using while watching. I thought when Daniel got that in the second movie that it would be that movie. Nope. Not even a fight at the end of that movie. Just a storm. Lame. Anyway, what have I been thinking was the Karate Kid all these years?
 
I too feel like this was from the karate kid. 2nd one maybe where Ralphie goes to Japan? Perhaps they cut it for TV?
Or maybe it's from Kickboxer with Jean Claude?

Nope, it was the 2nd Karate Kid. After the storm they had some kind of celebration and then the bad guy shows up and puts a knife to Daniel's GF and then throws the platform over so he can cross. At the end, Daniel wins with the drum move.
 
The final fight happens after the storm. Drum beating ensues. Even the trusty 'crane kick' from the first movie proves unsuccessful so he has to do the old drum move. Nose tweaking finishes off his opponents humiliation.

Maybe you stopped watching after the storm thinking it was over already? All is not lost however; you can watch the final fight on youtube:

What?! No! They didn't show that! After the storm they had some dance at the rich guys place. The end! Why would they cut that?!?
