What lens to get (shallow dof)

I find that the IS on the stock lens is perfect for what I am trying to do (unfortunately it just isn't fast enough) . I just need IS to stop the small jitters that I have without it. I wonder what the chances are that Panasonic will release a faster lens with IS in the next while...?
