What is the most quotable movie of all time?

Every time I go to the firing range and say I want to shoot, the guys who work there say, "When you have to shoot, shoot; don't talk."

Dumb & Dumber - I know most the movie off by heart.

Pulp Fiction
Anchorman
Snatch
T2

Surprised that no one has mention it yet ... Aliens

Aliens is probably my personal most quotable movie of all time.

But outside of sci-fi fans and well, dudes in their 20's and 30's, I doubt it is as well known among the rest of the general populace.

I agree with a lot of films on this already long list. Airplane lines run through my mind all the time....."looks like I picked the wrong week to quit smoking"

character 1 to Leslie Nielsen -"Surely, you can't be serious?"
Leslie Nielsen- "I am serious...and don't call me Shirley"

I'd like to add Goodfellas....Joe Pesci's lines in particular (the whole bar scene with Ray Liotta is a quotefest..."I'm here to amuse you...I'm like a clown to you" etc etc. And to add to Taxi Driver as one of the most quoted lines ever, I'd say Scarface is right up there......Al Pacino - "Say hello to my little friend!"

Arthur:It would have to be a 747.
Cobb:Why is that?
Saito:Because in a 747, the pilot's up top, and the first class cabin's in the nose, so no one would walk through. But you'd have to buy out the entire cabin. And the first class flight attendant...
Saito:I bought the airline.
Saito: It seemed neater.

While I do believe that Airplane! has the most quotes-per-minute ratio of any film, I still like quoting from Dr. Stranglove.

You can't fight in here -- this is the War Room!

Some of my favorites:

"In the pipe, five by five"
Aliens

"I LISTENED"
13th Warrior

All things Austin Powers.

"This is my weak arm"
"What did you do with him?"
"I let him go"
Commando

"My name is Maximus Dessimus Meridius...father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife, and I will have my vengeance...in this life of the next"
Awesome!

I think the movie with my fav. 'serious' quotes would be Gladiator ("What we do in life, echoes in eternity") and my favorite comedic quotes would definitely be Austin powers. "I'm so sexeh, I want you in ma belleh!".

+1 on Dumb & Dumber. I think I saw that 12+ times in the theater the first 2 months it was out.
"Radio, who needs a radio? You ready Harry?"
"MOCK"
"YEAH!"
"ING"
"YEAH!"
"BIRD"
"YEAH!"
"YEAH!"
"YEAH!"

Come on... where's the love? Pretty much ANY Dirty Harry movie:
"Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?"

Dr. Evil from Austin Powers:

"MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!"

Regarding his therapy group with his son:

"I had the group LIQUIDATED, you little sh*t! They were insolent!"

Austin:

"Yeah, Baby, Yeah!!!"

"Shall we shag now or shall we shag later?"

Yeah, I used to quote that stuff all the time back in the days...

I'm going with Back the the Future

"heavy, there's that word again"

"Last night, Darth Vader came down from planet Vulcan and told me that if I didn't take Lorraine out that he'd melt my brain"

"1.21 Jigawatts"

Matthew Quigley: I don't know where we're goin', but there's no sense bein' late.

MajorAshley-Pitt: In our experience, Americans are uncouth misfits who should be run out of their own barbaric country.
Matthew Quigley: Well, Lieutenant...
MajorAshley-Pitt: Major.
Matthew Quigley: Major. We already run the misfits outta our country. We sent 'em back to England.

Matthew Quigley: Lady, you're about a half a bubble off plumb, and that's fer sure and fer certain.
