What is the most quotable movie of all time?

Can't vouch for the U.S. or any other part of the World but here in Canada, every hockey-loving guy (and some girls) routinely throw out quotes from Slapshot all the time.

Other than that, I'd say The Godfather (I and II only), Caddyshack, Airplane and Fight Club.

I'll throw out another one too... Trading Places.

Maybe I'm from a younger generation, but "Dumb and Dumber" and "Napoleon Dynamite" are amazingly quotable.

"Dumb and Dumber":
We got no food, we got no jobs, Our pet's heads are falling off!

Nice set of hooters you got there.

Swemy, swammy, Swanson? Sampsonite, I was way off!

I'm sorry about my friend here, he's a little slow. The town is back THAT way!

Big gulps, huh? Whelp, see ya later!

Those your skis? Both of em?

And many more...

"Napoleon Dynamite":

Tina, eat your food!

I built her a cake.

Chicks dig guys with skills. Bow hunting skills, nunchuk skills...

But my lips hurt real bad!

Are you drinking skim milk cause you think you're fat? Cause you're not. You could be drinking whole.

Gimmie some of your tots!

Network

"I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!!!!"

The Terminator.

"I'll be back."

And more recently, at least amongst interweb nerds: 300

"This is Sparta!!!!"

Of course, the Sparta is usually replaced with something else, depending on the topic or parody of the quote itself.

If this hasn't been said already, Taxi Driver. The line I'm about to post is quoted SOOOO much.

"You talkin' to me?"

Dumb & Dumber

"You've had extra gloves this whole time?"

"Yeeeaaahh....we're in the Rockies."

......"Kick his ass, Seabass!"

I can't believe nobody said Forest Gump? All kinds of over used stuff from that movie..

My favorite is Tombstone though..

Thomas Haden Church: "He's so drunk, he's probably seein' double".. Val Kilmer "I've got two guns, one for the each of ya"!

Better off Dead.

But as far as post 80s movies go... I think Pulp Fiction and Lebowski might be the top of the list.
Though Raising Arizona is up there (for me at least) as well as the entire Evil Dead series (especially Army of Darkness)

I love Holy Grail, but I quote Life of Brian far more. I find far more moments in life that call LoB to mind. "There's no pleasing some people." "You're all individuals!"/"We're all individuals!" "Solidarity, Reg." "It's not meant to be taken literally. It refers to any manufacturers of dairy products." "You're only making it worse for yourself!"/"Making it worse? How could it be worse? Jehovah! Je-ho-vah!"

The only other film I quote close to the same regularity is a small film from 1985 called Rustler's Rhapsody, an affectionate, hilarious spoof of the Western genre by Hugh "Police Academy" Wilson. It actually might have more quotable quotes per minute than any other film I've seen. It's been a cult favorite of my family and friends for twenty-plus years now. Any film that stars a portly Andy Griffith as an evil colonel and Tom Berenger as a singing cowboy with confidence issues is worth watching. "Everyone knows that to be a good guy you have to be a confident heterosexual." -- "I thought it was just 'confident.'" -- "No, it's confident heterosexual." -- "I didn't know that." -- "It's okay. I'm just gonna shoot the guns out of your hands." (This exchange with Patrick Wayne, son of John Wayne.)

Runners-up: Holy Grail, Ruthless People ("Perhaps we should shoot him."), Raising Arizona, Army of Darkness

My sister and I use to do the "When I was five line" quite a bit !

Yeah, I used to do the "this one was my dream, MY DREAM, and I'm taking it back, taking them all back.."
