What is "STD" written in the LCD display (left of the focus distance reading)
Hi, there are 3 letters on my LCD display. to the left of the shutter speed (180.0d), above the F stop reading, and to the right of the Focus distance.
It suddenly came on and at first it was for Skin Tone Detail. And maybe I had hit a Skin Tone Detail button I didn't know I had. But I did a lot or research and could not find such a button, only a way of turning it on and off under scene file.
I then discovered I had bumped the Manual setting switch to Auto. When I moved it back to Manual the STD letters went away.
My question is? What does that stand for? My Skin Tone Detail is turned off in settings. So if it is that, why would it come on in Auto? Or is it for something else?
Thanks!
