What Is my DVX-100a Worth?

HI I have DVX-100A with low hours. I am not sure of the actual hours but I know it low. (How do I check the hours.) I also have 2 - 3hour battery packs, 1- 9 hour battery, external mic, hard case, light, and a few other things. I bought the camera with big intentions but never happend. Would like to sell it so I can buy more Nikon gear. Could you guys help me out and let me know what I might be able to get for it?

How could you buy a camera without know it's hours....and why is your first question on dvxuser.com a selling question????
then how much did you buy the camera for? that should give a good price point on how much you could sell it for.

Well I bought it from a friend, that used it for a 3 month project. I had intentions of using it to shoot snowboard footage. THAT DIDN"T HAPPEN and I haven't used it much. I shoot alot more still photography then video so thats why I decided to sell it. Sorry to ask a simple question. Didn't know you would get so fired up about it.

I'll tell you what mines worth, just to give you some guidelines to base yours on.

My camera has 56 hours, its in good condition, no scratches on the the main part of the body, a few on the bottom. I have had a uv filter on it since I first bought it, so I have no scratches or dust on the lens. No mac sag, and the lcd screen is in good condition. The camera overall is pretty mint.

With that said, I would sell it with my pelican case, a 12 hour battery (I would save the rest of them for my HPX) charger, lens cap, LCD hood and a few AY-DVM63AMQ tapes.

This would probably go for around $1500 to $1700
