I am about to jump on the C100 pool. I am just wondering what you guys are building into your kits?

Ninja-2, 25-105mm f/4 (coming on Friday), 17-40 f/4, Tokina 11-16, Nikkor primes (24/30 f/2 and 50 f/1.2).

grab a lcd hood, an evf cushion, and im about to grab one of these as well

also keep in mind it's standard lens height, so you want a non rising rail plate, im using the cavision one which is OK, but there are better options out there

That topplate looks like a must-have. What evf cushion are you using? The evf seems to be a sore point with the C100.

Camera, couple lenses and some batteries. The rest is built in.

I'm using it without a cushion and no problems. There's no substitute for a proper, adjustable EVF.

11-16, 17-55, 24-105, 70-200, Fast 50 & 35, 10.5 fisheye. 2x Big Batts.
Used, but haven't desired to use again, my Zacuto EVF, or the Pix220 (although will trade for Ninja or Samurai Blade with HDMI-HD-SDI converter soon), or the Half Inch Rails shoulder mount - all of which were absolutely vital for the FS100. In fact, it's the absolute NON-reliance on accessorization and picture profiles that, for me, makes the C100 so appealing.

I've found the following simple setup to be so awesome I use it probably more than 50% of the time:
C100 + 24-105mm f4 L + Manfrotto 561BHDV-1 monopod
+ Occasionally the Ninja 2 mounted to the C100.
+ I hope to add a Zacuto Z-Finder as well when they ship it soon, will add another point of contact and solve LCD sunlight issues.
It's a great lightweight, simple kit.

The Zacuto Studio Baseplate. Expensive, but one of the only options to get the rails 85mm from lens center.
