What is everyone's job?

Haven't worked since 2007 cuz of Grave's Disease, but before that I worked as a Hotel Operations Manager for 10 year renovating, changing operations for over
half a dozen hotels from Geogia, Texas to California.

I trained personnel, hired, fired (40 people in 9 months), work front desk, operated banquets and put on the biggest boxing event in Atlanta and it was televised! woot!

It took 2 1/2 years to change the operations and renovate the hotel in Santa Cruz, California and once that was done my work hours were from, wait for it....

9am-11am

Yes, you read that right. For 4 years I worked about two hours a day and got paid a full salary. Hate me.

I once worked the night shift as an editor for an internet company for a few years. Basically nobody else was there at night, and once my work was done, I could go home. I rarely worked more than 4 hours. Sometimes I'd duck out, go see a movie, come back and finish my work. On more than one occasion my supervisor would call and say to not bother coming in that day, as there was nothing to do. For this I was paid $70,000 a year.

Yikes. But in my own humble defense, I did have a 6 month gig in Mexico once where I worked 1 hr on, 1 off, 1 on. I lived about 20 feet from the gulf. Free 'everything' and by 'everything' I mean if I said what I meant, I'm afraid the mob might still gun me down, lol. Ya never know. Crazy boogers.

Memories' haha. Good times.

Shoot me a PM sometime on the 'you know what' story updates if you have any.

//edit: Actually for 8 years I only worked 4 hrs a night playing schlumck music. No offense to our audience. Living in shi*holes ect. So, no surprise I forgot about that, at least for a moment, lol.

//Sorry. Seriousness really brings out the worst in me. Well, here's to be analistic then. I'm sure ya'll have careers to worry about so that's cool. I don't. So I . Dont' . Care.
Thank you. Good night. Elvis has left the building.

Left full-time employment in TV (audio - field, studio, and DAW) a few years ago to take a job in youth ministry. I still freelance in DAW at my old workplace, shoot commercials when I can, and take whatever other projects come down the pipe.

ZaZa - I left the ocean and now I live in the desert, come over tomorrow and get it over with, water.... I need water....

I teach English and try to make it fun by creating movies with my students. However, they prefer to simply watch films and it takes a lot of effort to motivate them to write. They think they can figure everything out just before the camera begins to roll.
