What if I want top 720p25?

All these patches confuse me a little bit, so I need to ask.

Currently using LP's reliable in camera.

Now..
- I think that 1080 mode is much less hd than 720p50
- I can live without slowmo
- 1080 editing requires huge power and transcoding time

Which is the patch for top 720p25 performance?

More pixels, less quality.
I wasn't able to get same hd feeling from 1080 with the reliable patch.

I'm just wondering which is the best high bitrate 720p25 short gop patch.
I guess it's LP 100mb max lat, but that's not clear.. :-/
 
1080 is truly a higher resolution. Since the GH1's sensor is a 12 megapixel sensor, both 720 and 1080 are downsampled from significantly higher resolutions, making 1080 truly higher definition than 720.
 
For some reason (maybe myself) I get better -detailed- results with 720p.

So I would like to try a 25p short gop patch (once there was the 50mb 3 frame gop, but I'm afraid it's obsolete).
Which to pick?
