HPX 250b. Same camera with 4/3 sensor and I'm done.
12+ stops DR in a sub $10k camera. The final piece of the holy grail, in my opinion.
While it would be great.... It is not an insurmountable problem for most shots considering how rolling shutter is causing fewer problems, these days.
Having 12+ DR though takes us from the video look towards film (in my opinion) for shots that can't be controlled by light .
seems some folks want a lot for under $10k. you guys are much better hagglers than i am. ;-)
I'm a little surprised, too. Panasonic should put the sensor of the GH3 (or whatever they're working on now) into a small video camera form factor. Add AVC-Ultra with 10-bit 4:2:2 and supporting data rates of up to 50 Mbps (maybe up to 75 Mbps for 60p). Add clean 10- to 12-bit HDMI output. And maybe a flat profile like the Technicolor CineStyle available for the Canon dSLRs. That should be doable for $2,000 (with lens).Next Sony NEX VG series camcorder(perhaps VG30?) with more manual control & real buttons, priced around $2k. Interesting that Canon & Panasonic and JVC left this segment entirely to Sony.
They should be thinking of 4K or QuadHD in addition to what you suggested. Still for less than $10K.A Sony F3 with SLOG, ProRes Recording to SxS cards, and a global shutter all built-in.
I'd pretty much stop complaining at that point.

Slide film is only about 6 or 7 stops.
i hope my c300 arrives before NAB, then I don´t need to follow NAB anymore......
What are you looking forward to this year ?
Yeah, right! Not gonna happen.
