What I like about Shot put pro....

While in the midst of a shoot today, I got a call from a client telling me that a card volume from a previous shoot had not been offloaded and that the folder for the card on their hard drive was empty. At first i was hit with some palpitations while I tried to recall what happened at that particular shoot.

Memory which can sometimes be fallible told me that the files had been off loaded successfully but the client said they were nowhere to be found.

Arrangements were being made to handoff the card with the original shoot files which I had in my possession, when I thought to look at the SP Pro log files on my laptop. About 30 seconds after I checked the log files I texted the path to the offloaded files on the HD to my client as taken from the SP Pro log files. The shoot files were located and at the hasty nerve wracking arrangements to hand off the original media were cancelled.

I love shot put! I shoot a hgtv series and manage data as well. 1-2 cameras shooting 2-4 different episodes at a time 5 days a week. Shot put helps me keep my sanity and streamlines my organization. Love it!

Are you all using the new version, or the previous?

Version 3 worked great, but I had problems with Version 4, & haven't used it for several months.
