what going to happen after february 2009 with the SD camera

Hi, everyone

I just wanna get a feedback on what's gonna happen to the SD cameras after feb 2009 when Tv's going digital ( HD)...does the SD cameras still be useful? and does film maker still gonna make sd DVD or it is gonna be in hd dvd only

It's a common misconception that there will be a complete switch to HD in 2009. NOT TRUE! The switch is to digital broadcasting only. There is NO mandate to broadcast only in HD. SD programing will continue, for quite a while.

A digital SD camera will be every bit as useful in a digital SD broadcast world as it is today in an analog SD broadcast world.

Just to specify, that is the misconception.

Analog TV = SD
Digital TV = SD or HD

As stated, there is no requirement for HDTV, only for DTV [which can be a multitude of formats] for full power TV broadcast in the USA after Feb 19th 2009.
Low-power TV stations aren't even required to switch off Analog then yet either.
