Amen, and same here. ..and I like the continuing compatibilty all they way out to Pagemaker and of course Acrobat.

I'll say that for a while there (around version 6, 6.5) Premier was REALLY sucking in comparison to the competition.. but they got their hiney into gear with Pro.. they all still have room to improve through ;)
Hey Adobe! Multicam editing! Scopes during playback, and Audio meters on capture! .. so not perfect yet!

Avid Xpress Pro HD. Currently debating which laptop to purchase in the future...
 
Pinnacle Liquid Edition...although it has some tiny winy flaws that bug me every now and then I still haven't found a program that can beat it. Vegas was my hope after reading all the good stories and I tried the trial version, but Liquid is just soooooo smooth and quick to work with...I couldn't get into the interface of Vegas. I really wanted it though, but it just didn't work for me. Anyway, both are excellent programs.

Are there still no moderators available at DVX that want to start a seperate section for Liquid Edition? It works excellent for editing 25p PAL stuff, and there are many readers from outside the US here as well...Pleeeeeeeease? :)

Iron Eyes weeps for the poor hoop jumping souls, when he knows how good their lives could be if only they knew the glories of Vegas. :cry::grin: It's like editing with no underwear.....relaxed freedom....few restrictions.

It's not a question of non-Americans; it's that very few people on the board use LE.

But Pinnacle is part of Avid now, so maybe it can be discussed there.
