C300: what does this mean?

I'm very new to the C300 and wanted to know what issues would you have if the MAGN AND CUSTOM PICTURE BUTTONS DO NOT FUNCTION? Thanks

They probably have a custom function assign to those buttons.

I bought a C300 last week and it should be here by next Tuesday. I was looking at this C300 with issues thinking maybe if I can get a good deal on it, it might be good as a B camera to go with the other one if I can get it fix? what would the most you would pay for it?

I wouldn't buy it, especially if you're currently in NZ and returning it to New Jersey would be prohibitively expensive (and maybe a hassle to get back to them within 30-days of them shipping it out?). But since they're only asking US$1,899.00 and that's with DPAF, and they do have that warranty, maybe you could try $1700...but I'd guess they have enough experience with pricing that they won't go much below that. But I'm just guessing... How easy would it be for you to return to them?
