What do you want in the next version of Cinestyle?

I have been shooting Cinestyle since it came out (7D). One thing I'd want is a better rendition of reds in the image. Another DP and I were talking last night and we were talking about the "Canon red" and how much we disliked it. Other than that I love the PS.

They definitely need a v2.0 which revamps the colors. I find the warm yellows to be a tad green.

What is it about the red? Is there a particular hue or saturation element you do not like?

Thanks, James - I'll just add a couple of things: * it's based on Portrait - some hues may be a bit off, but skin tones are better than in picture styles based on Neutral, and that's what I care about most (it does some kind of skin squeeze and skin smooth) * unlike CineStyle and other flat options, mine is "flat" in the sense that there's contrast, but it's evenly distributed throughout the image (this still makes grading easy and predictable, but filling the codec's color space should lead to less noise in the final images)

I can't really put my finger on it right now. Maybe the way the red drops off to orange. It blooms too. I am shooting with 0 for saturation instead of -2, maybe that is the difference. IDK.

Hmmm. Some of that is potentially unavoidable. With flat picture styles being saved to the blocky H.264, many small color anomalies form once contrast is restored.
