I'm about to buy a set of lenses and cameras off of craigslist. I'd like to hear your thoughts on the deal.

I'll be getting:

Honeywell Pentax Spotmatic camera

Super-Takumar 1:3.5/135mm lens and case

Macro-Takumar 1:4/50mm lens and case

Super-Takumar 1:1.8/55mm lens

Vivitar Automatic Tele Converter 2X with case

3 Yashica extenders 36mm , 18mm and 11mm

Makinin 1:2.8 28mm lens and 6 color filters

Asahi Pentak K1000 camera

SMC Pentax 1:3.5/135mm lens

SMC Pentak 1:2 55mm lens

All for $200.00

I figure this is a pretty good deal going on the prices of the lenses on Ebay alone. Apparently they are all M42 mounts so I can get adapters to mount on my T2i.
I'm not sure the differences between the Takumar and Pentax lenses, can anyone speak to that? I've heard great things about the Takumars on this forum so I'm excited to try them out.

*edit

Just did a little more searching and I think the Pentax lenses are K mounts, anyone have experience using them on a T2i/7d?

Not a bad price. I have the Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 50 1.4 and it's a beautiful lens so I'm assuming the 50 1.8 is just as nice. I think getting such a deal online is a pretty good bargain and a nice introduction into the world of manual focus lenses. Have fun with them!

Just brought them home! I won't be able to try them out for a bit as I just ordered the adapters but from just playing around with them it seems like the Pentax lenses are a little more rugged and have a tighter focus throw while the Takumars are smooth as silk in every way :)

I'm really looking forward to using the Macro-Takumar 50mm f4. It's a really unique looking lense and has two aperture rings on the end.. whats up with that?

I will probably end up selling a few since I basically have two of each lens (m42 or k mount). Looks like I have alot of testing to do... can anyone recommend a good system to do so?
