LOL. I just find it funny that you were WISHING that your company didnt provide one, when you still have the option of getting your own....AND I'm sure most people wish someone else was paying for theirs. I didnt say it made sense to do it.

Iphone 2g. Have it for almost a year. This phone actually did more for me than taking calls: with its fantastic screen, I could show my work to potential clients in those informal situations where out of the blue there's a "chance" for you to show your work and to pitch yourself. A recent example: for my short, I could show some of the musicians working on the project how a particular sequence plays out visually- no need to bring a DVD and be affraid of dvd players and compatibilities, just brought the composite cable and presto, DVD quality (albeit composite for compatibility- I normaly don't carry my component cable) on any TV, directly from my Iphone.
