What are you listening to now ?

I love the bass sound in this one.

Reminds me of the bass on the Grand Funk Live album. This may not be the best track example.

//edit: And this is a Riki bass but man, it sounds pretty like a jazz.

Kundalini Express-Love & Rockets

^ this song came up on one of my old "best of the 80s" cds and I can't stop listening to it. I remember thinking it wasn't "heavy enough" when I was a young punk, but now I like it.

I used to love the smell of tape. Just watching that reminded me of the smell. Weird.
Love the video and the song.

//my dads 1/8"" home tape reels I mean. Not the bigger studio tape.

In a fiddle mood just to break things up a bit for myself tonight. :)

I see Charli posted this about 12 years ago or close. (Gotta bug her.)

We need to send out a good song to my friend Charli Gulley. The writer. Think of a song just for her.

Just found out tonight that a friend from childhood days passed away on Monday. He was a very accomplished musician and singer. Here is one of his more pop efforts whose title seems fitting.

RIP, Brett Walker.

Sorry about the news Terry. May he rest in peace.
Great song indeed. A loss for all of us.
