I just wanted to throw this out there... for anyone who likes discovering new indie style bands, and enjoys a constant flow of the less exposed music out there, check out http://theindierockplaylist.com/
They come up with a new playlist every month, you can download the torrent for free, I've found some real gems in there, and I find I spend a lot less time searching for new music. It's perfect for my tastes, but I can see how others would hate it. If you need to hear a song a few times before you enjoy it, this is definitely not for you. For years I used to have to hear it a few times before it "clicked", but then one day it just switched and I can now fall in love with a song the 1st time I hear it.
For my tastes, I'd say about 90% of the songs are "listenable" right off the bat... I rarely find myself skipping through. On top of that, I usually find 2-10 songs per playlist that I REALLY love, and discover new bands constantly.
Anyway, it's starting to sound like I work for them. I don't, I just HATE the radio and everything on it, and this has been a real music saver for me...
