Zepplin version: (Deleted. It sucked. I won't post it.)

Dr. John is one of my favorites, Gord. Gotta pull out some CD now and listen to him awhile.

About 10(20?) years or more ago I had bought all of Dr.Johns VCR tapes from HomeSpun Tapes .
That's a friendly plug, not a spam. I bought a lot more tapes from them in areas of rag time piano and country styles. At the time I was playing pro so I found it helpfull.
I will say that those people at homespun really are down to earth people.
Anyways, really solid people over there. (And NO, I don't get anything for saying that. )

Long 'story' is, I brought most of my tapes over to my girlfriends house for her to have a listen to. She was a multi talented blues/jazz piano/singer ect. She thought it was a present. So, at that point, I'm thinking "Hey, I look like a nice guy..." and also I'm thinking "I just gave her $300 of tapes and music scores to go with it. I'm screwed..." :)

Lol. What should I do? What could I do? Nothing. I gave them up to her. Like any normal idiot would.

A little off topic but I had to share that story. Damn it. Those Dr.John tapes were priceless.
Happy listening Blain.

^your post I think needs the "v=" part of the link removed. That always screws me up.

Ska: I love the Boss tones. I have always wanted to do an animated video to 'the impression that I get."

I was thinking along the lines of cartoon cats. I had it mostly planned out for a couple years but haven't got up to speed on the tech end yet. Someday maybe if I get to that level.
I can visualize it, just can't pull it off right now.

I LOVE this song.

Re: groveChuck:
Is that the ol' Devo? Deee.Eeee.Veee.Ohhhh?

David Byrne had a great documentary on how music has evolved according to architecture.
Battua posted that a few weeks ago. Very interesting.

Ps: Whip it Good.

Yep Gord, that Devo (is there any other? lol!)

Now whip it
into shape
shape it up
get straight
go forward
move ahead
try to detect it
it's not too late
to whip it
whip it good

David Byrne's incredible! Love him, seen him!
