DBoz, whatcha editing there, in Canada? And why are you taking someone else's computer you're supposed to be editing on apart? :cheesy:

well..im just visiting family and my moms cousin lets me use the studio. So i then i put in an HD Mini DV Tape..turned the FX1 on and just messed around with it filming family dinners. I was lookin thru the menus and i noticed it has Cineframe 24..not sure if its true 24p...but it looked like it...then i tried some in camera color shifting and phases nd stuff...and made some smooooth footage...it looks really hott. But i cant edit it on Vegas here cuz Vegas is being stupid and not capturing the tape. thast abooot it...

wat do u think ehh??

Well, I was on the pad at 0630 and so was teh aircraft. Beautiful day here in Austin. By 1630 I was back in my jeans and on my way home. The crew was great. The pilot is ex navy and really knows his stuff. Turns out he was the hover guy. No grandstanding, he's too professional.
Anyway, 10 hours in a flightsuit and I never even sat in the aircraft. No activations, nothing. They all apologized as I was leaving and took my cards. They are really anxious to see what I could get while flying and are going to have me back as soon as they can. Sometimes you're really busy, sometimes you're not. !5 years as a medic has taught me this much.
Maybe next time.
Overland, give me a shout while you're in San Antonio.
No worries about flying, no motion sickkness here. I love flying.
Any concerns about the pilot changing his routine because I was around can be relaxed. He has flown with lots of camera crews, he knows his job and they don't fool around.
