What are used HVX200s going for?

Say, 225H operation time, excellent condition, BARE (no P2 cards, filters/lenses/etc.) - just the camera itself, and the manual/battery/cables that came with it. What might I be able to sell this for... both now... and say in a few months, if an HVX200a was announced and coming out?

Depending on what the features are, I'd perhaps like to sell my HVX200 to get a 200a.
 
NAB isn't for six weeks, and there is absolutely no indication that a 200a or any revision is in the offing.

Or even if it is it would have an immediate ship date or features you find attractive.

To get price on what you have, go over to the marketplace and look at what people are selling for.

Or check eBay and see what has actually sold from a person, not a company.

My guess is about $3500.00, but if a 200a is coming out, no doubt others will also be selling.

But what do you reasonably expect in an "A" HVX200?

I don't see any features being added. Perhaps a better LCD, or an improved component out port or a better FW port.

But I don't foresee anything that would be a WOW feature.

I didn't occur in the 100a or b for the DVX100.

And the company is still selling a lot of the HVX200
 
This isn't about the 200a, what I'll find attractive, or theoretical revisions. I can handle my decision there.

Just a simple question of what its going for used now, with nothing thrown in, and how much that might drop if a 200a is announced or comes out.

$3500 right now? That low?
 
I expressed my thoughts about what I foresee, because new features of a revised HVX200 will directly affect what you may sell your cam for.

You did say "depending on what features . . . " and I was responding to that.

As I said, marketplace here is one gauge.

eBay with real sellers is the another gauge.

But new features in a HVX2OO also is a factor.

The possible new features of a 200a directly affect your possible price because it will affect how big the market is for used HVX200s

You can buy a new HVX200 with free shipping, additional battery and Barry's book for about $5150.00 now. Included as well is a 16 GB card, which sells for $800.00

With that purchase you get a year warranty and no hours on the cam.

$5150-800=$4315.00-your hours, additional battery and Barry's book, short or no warranty, extensive or small used market = ?????

I say $3500.00. It might be a few hundred dollars higher, or not.
