Wf718

WF717 has a big bowl to give better stabilization. If you have a set of heavy gears, go for it.

WF717AH and WF718 can be attached on a tripod with 1/4" or 3/8" thread that can hold 488RC2 for photography. Max load is 11 lbs, and it can trip over easier than WF717. Those smaller heads can be attached on Indislider Mini. WF718's snap-in quick release looks so fine. If they sell it separately, I'd be interested in getting WF718 + a couple of the quick releases. Snap Snap ready to shoot using a slider!

But this might take some time to be available.

I think the WF718 is just the non-bowl version of the WF717, and with regular photo-type legs instead of video tripod legs. Same head, except it screw-mounts to the WF718's legs instead of the WF717's bowl mount.

I like the video legs and the easy head leveling of the WF717, but the WF718 looks excellent as well. You can't really go wrong with these Fancier tripods with the 717-type heads, especially for the price. Mine's taken a fair amount of abuse in the last few months and it looks and works great.

That sounds good. They don't sell the cool snap-in quick release by itself yet. If they do, you might be able to use it on both tripods. That's the coolest "cheap" quick release I've seen.
