First, a big thank you to everyone who took the time to make and enter a film. Regardless of the outcome, it is definitely a huge achievement just to get that far. Many start the journey, but few complete it. So hats off to those of you who completed and entered.

We've enjoyed the films and appreciate the effort that was put into creating them.

And now, without further ado, here are your top 6 finalists (in alphabetical order):

Congratulations to everyone who entered... and best of luck to the finalists... Remember, you are rating each film individually. This is a star system.. it is not a ranking system. You can have 3 films a 7, two as a 6, four as an 8... whatever... just think of it like putting stars on a video at youtube.

You can view and rate the films you haven't yet rated that are on the finalists list using the same url as before....

Wow, congratulations! Feeling very honored to be in such company. The wait for August 7th is gonna be excruciating.
 
Because we now allow people to rate even exhibition entries it is possible to see where non-compete films would place had they actually competed.

I'm very proud to say that had we been in competition, Lesson in Life and Death would have been a finalist as well. I am very honored to have been placed in such company, there were some fantastic entries this time (as there always are)

And congrats to all who were able to complete and enter a film, that is a significant accomplishment
 
Congrats to all the finalists! There were a number of good films in this fest, even though it was smaller than usual, so congrats to everyone else as well for manning up and entering this particularly difficult theme.
 
Congratulations to everyone! I feel blessed to be apart of all this. Good luck to everyone! I really wish I could make it to the awards on the 7th, but I have to work. :(
 
Finalists: For the LA Screening, please start prepping full res versions of your films up to 1080p, 23.98 mastered in Pro Res or as a high quality h.264. We will provide a place for you to upload these files, or you can send me a link if you have it hosted on your own server. PM me with any questions. :)
 
Congratulations to all the finalists and everyone else who entered. Some seriously good work this fest.
 
Man this happened fast. Guess I'm too slow in my old age. Congrats to everyone.

Now I;d better get back to writing my reviews...
