West Coast Screening

Sorry, didn't read the entire announcement. There will be a second show in LA if the first one fills up.

Well if the Nuart has a 4K projector, I'm totally stunned. I always thought of it as my little art house theatre. Had no idea it had such a mean engine under the hood. I fondly remember back in the day when I first saw "Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers" at the Nuart. How you've grown <tear>.

Seriously though, how can anyone tell when all they show are documentaries, low budget indie and foreign films and the occassional re-release.

"Where and how can we make reservations?"

keep a eye on RED's site starting around Nov 2 ...
before that date reservations holders, invited guest, Press, & VIP's are reserving seats ...
whatever empty seats are left will be open to public to reserve a seat ..
if the 1st showing fills up from reservation holders, & invited guest they will add 2nd screening ...

I'm going to be in LA in a few days. Is there no chance I can see this?
at least tell us when and where so i can see if i'll even be able to.

I sent in my RSVP but still have not received a response. Has anybody else got a confirmation email? BTW haven't got my metal "R" yet either.

the 'R's are on the way back from IBC (via ship), and will be sent out as soon as they come back in, which should be very soon.

I have not; I was getting worried, but if no one else has theirs either, they probably just have had more pressing things to deal with (and given what they have to deal with, I'm all for letting them make improvements to the camera first and foremost).
