Hi,
I just recently picked up an HV20 and have been playing around with it. I'm loving the camera but I'm noticing something weird with it. I'm hoping someone here might know anything about it. When I shoot in normal DV mode and recording not on tape but directly to the Hard Drive via the component cable, I am getting these weird, almost diagonal lines of noise when I try to pull a key out of it. Now, I know it's not normally wise to pull keys out of DV or HDV sources, but hey, I just wanted to try it out.
Does anyone know what this is and how I might be able to get rid of these lines of noise so I can get a key? Any help is greatly appreciated. I'll try and post a sample frame capture when I can.
