looks reallly good man. luv that shot with the groomsmen walking in the hall . the saga continues....but on the hmc :)

question...why 50p?
 
Thanks Darren,, I used 50p for everything nearly except the ceremony. 25p is crap for slomo unless you use twixtor or the like. I wanted nice slomo so I shot 50p!!
 
oh i thought since you were already used to shooting 25p and slowing it down with the dvx it would be the same here. that slowmo didnt look that bad. Is it worse on the hmc or something? well at least u get 50p now and not 50i ...hoowhhoo! interlaced is for suckaz
 
Slo mo in 25p with the DVX was ok if you didn't move the camera and you upped the shutter speed, this was the notchiness was minimal. 50p is a whole new ball game!

Yes and interlaced is for suckaz and so are Sony cams.
 
I shot my first wedding recently. I have no room to criticize, but I will anyway b/c I'm assuming that's the feedback you are looking for.

Maybe it's the vimeo playback, but the first shot slowmo on the sign- either the pan took too long or the playrate is too slow. I found myself hoping for a bit faster pan. The video stuttered too much as well. Nice shot- just took too long to develop.

The makup scene seemed under lit. It was a nice shot (the makup being applied to her eye), but the lack of light meant that no detail in the eye/lashes etc could be made out.

Maybe consider mixing in some real time footage with the slomo. The goomsmen walking down the hall was nice, but again the slomo isn't fluid. Maybe you should go to 60fps and slow that down to 40% playback.

Framing is good, shots are nice. Good clips, I'm betting if it were shot in 60fps it would be amazing.
 
Thanks guys,,, Vimeo is the culprit, it did nasty things to my clip. The whole thing was shot nealry 50p and slowed to 50% in Vegas. Its smooth a silk with the raw playback.
 
Very nice colors. The footage created with this camera never stops to amaze me.
I suspect the bride and groom got pretty exited to see this trailer?
