A thing to keep in mind about weddings is the day flies by and things happen that cause delays...So the more stuff you have to lug around.. the more set up and breakdown time you need... and you don't always have ... I say less is more in the beginning then as you get more experience add stuff in slowly... and most important know your equip inside and out... There is definitely no time to learn on the job... Good Luck!!

I use a zaza slider, merlin, monopod, and tripod... 7d,5d mark II and g3 lav system with the h4n... and always shoot the ceremony with at least 3 cams... I use the hvx200 for a locked down wide...

Wow, these are all very different options. What is your budget? First off, I would get the H4n, hands down. You can tap into the sound board and get clean audio that way.

Do you have any other way of micing them? Audio is VERY important at a wedding, and if you think getting by with the onboard mics will do, you need to reevaluate everything.

Also, what lenses do you have? Simply the kit lenses? Those will do just about terrible for all of your indoor shoots. You'll need to make sure you have fast enough lenses, AND they should be zooms so you can get different ranges without having to change lenses every few minutes during the ceremony.

How many people will be helping you? Is it just you? I would eliminate the crane, then. Possibly the slider.

Don't forget the 12 minute record limit, so you need to make sure you offset your cameras starting time.

@hawk tnx for sharing your thoughts...i've got some L's already like the ,24-70 2.8,70-200 2.8 is ,501.8 mm,85 1.8, tokina 11-16 2.8 lenses w/c i would be able to swap w/ each one of them..hmmm was also defenitly eyeing for the h4n....thank you sir....

I dont do weddings but i do a lot of events and it all sounds very familiar to what i went though. I found for outdoor day events i love the kit I use. here is my breakdown
t2i with magic lantern and a battery grip
WAY too much memory (2x 32gb class 10, 2x 16gb one class 6 one 10, 2x 8gb class 10) i format and rebuild magic lantern on each of them after every shoot
Tamron 18-270mm ( here) There is a new version of this lens thats the same specs only a much smaller package that would be great to keep the weight down.
ebay shoulder rig (here and now cheaper than i paid)
Manfrotto 701 head on some basic sticks
cheapo follow focus (here and now more expensive than i paid but still a great deal)
azden shotgun mic mounted on camera with an xlr-1/8th cable
zoom h1
beachtek (old version of this that ive had for years that gives me 2 xlr into my h1 without phantom, just for capturing audio off of a sound board if I have access)

Thats how I 1-man-band shoots for events like concerts and such. The lens works great throughout the zoom range (a little soft on the long end for photo but fine for me video work)

the key is that all this gear can be carried in on my back and if i need to i can have it all with me while im handheld shooting.

Wynboost, If you don't already have the following items, you'll also need to factor them in:

A good sturdy tripod, a wireless lavalier mic & a shotgun mic.

For the items you have on your list, I'd go Zoom h4n, then steadycam, then slider, and forget about a jib.
