So the idea behind the sketch was:
"What if the weed you smoked made you sound like Seth Rogen?"
To pull it off, we watched a bunch of Seth Rogen movies, and recorded his lines as sound bites. We then used those sound bites to write the simplest scene we could so that we could shoot the video in one location, in one day. All of the actors lip-synced their performances a-la "Drunk History".
We found the garage on peerspace in LA renting for $40 an hour and we shot for 4 hours.
Our lighting set up was one led light panel top lighting them from above with some diffusion, with 3 RGB Yongnuo wands placed in the background plus some practicals that were already at the location.
I wish we would have had more time to get the lighting right, but we only had an hour to set up so we were pretty much flying by the seat of our pants. That also meant that we only had a couple of takes to get each set-up. The opening shot was done with the C200 balanced on a Zhiyun Crane 2 with the Sigma 24-105 art lens. We only did 3 takes of it and the shot that made the edit has several bumps that couldn't be smoothed out in post.
We would appreciate some feedback and constructive criticism.
