Who the hell paired up all the acts? Al Green with Justin Timberlake? Justin sounded like a little kid Al handed the mic too during Al's concert. Justin destroyed the song and why did they give him so many verses?
Miley Cyrus? Jonas Brothers? All these non-singers next to real talent and it made it doubly apparent that they can't hang with the big boys. I mean Jonas brothers trying to sing a Stevie Wonder song? WTF? They sounded soooooo amature. I forget the artist next to Miley Cyrus but it made Miley sound like she was screaming.

Rant over...back the regularly scheduled program.
 
Oh, geez. The on-air mix for the tribute to Bo Diddly was absolutely horrendous. Could only hear BB King's guitar, and a couple of vocals, direct. Everything else was coming off the ambient/audience mics.

This after the "in memory" segment, which for viewers at home was saturated with the audience mics.

I believe that was Taylor Swift.

And the only reason I'm watching it is because I'm at work and we're carrying it, so I sorta have to... though I've managed to tune out most of it...
 
DVR people, always watch award shows on DVR that way, you skip through all of the commercials and fast forward through all the horrid acts.

Just read where Timberlake came in last minute because Chris Brown allegedly bruised up his girl friend Rhiana who was also scheduled to perform. Don't blame Timberlake for last minute gig.

I think Chris Brown has SERIOUSLY damaged his image and come on now, Rhiana looks and behaves with a lot of poise, how can an argument escalate outside a car and then you beat your girl? He has some serious explaining to do.
 
I'm not sure when Nickelodeon took over the grammy's but it is getting worse
. They might as well call it the "Kid's Choice Awards" and just slime everyone.
 
Yeah it sucked it was far from classy and Great performances , I love coldplay but they should tie Martin down when he decides to run around and do Viva la vida.
 
I was wondering where Rhianna was cause she was killing the charts this year and Chris Brown is always good for some entertainment. Just for the record I can't stand lil Wayne.
