Warranty for HVX200/A

I recently purchased a HVX200/A camcorder from B&H.

After I registered the unit at the Panasonic website, they sent me an email confirming the registration of my device and in the email it refered to my device as "The registered equipment without warranty repair program"

Does anyone know what this means? Or know the manufacture warranty policy for the HVX200/A?

B & H does sell 200a Japanese imports. If this is the case with your unit, you would have to send it to Japan for service.
