Please excuse the semantics. What Jim said was correct, it was expected behavior and worked as designed in CS6. The feature that people in this thread wanted is in Premiere Pro CC (7.0.1). The feature was a request from those moving from FCP to Premiere Pro. So, yes, it's not a bug but a new feature, as Jim said. Since it is a new feature and not a bug, it will not be changed in CS6. Sorry about that.
